Donna Lynne Carpenter, 73, of Independence passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016, at her home.
She was born on April 7, 1943, at Coffeyville to Samuel L. and Winifred Eloise (Dudley) Carpenter. Donna spent her early years in Coffeyville, due to her health she lived in Winfield for several years before moving to Independence.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her care givers, Velma and Jim Pippin of Coffeyville, Matoya James of Independence, Kathleen Lewis of Independence, and Amber Morse of Independence.
A memorial service celebrating Donna's life will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the Veterans Memorial Patio in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Inurnment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
