Obituary of Patty Ann Bradshaw

Please share a memory of Patty to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Patty Ann Bradshaw, age 73, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on August 24, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Patty was born on October 20, 1942 in Stella, Missouri to Dave Luther and Nettie Dolly (Kahl) Pogue. She grew up in Stella where she received her high school education and shortly after moved to Coffeyville, Kansas. Patty married the love of her life, James Bradshaw on June 16, 1959 and began raising a family together. James and Patty enjoyed playing Bingo, going for their Sunday drives, and most of all spending time with family and friends. James and Patty's home was a place where family and friends were always welcomed with laughter and love. With the family always growing, you could always find a crowd gathered around their dining room table sharing stories or a living room full of kids playing. They had a great impact on everyone around them. Their family held them in high regard and turned to them for advice often; many of the kids would be by at least once a week to catch up and visit. James and Patty had a love for one another so true and real; the type of love that lasts beyond a lifetime. Their family is comforted knowing they are once again together for eternity. Surviving to honor their memory are their children, Jim Bradshaw, Jr. and wife, Linda, Kimberly Armstrong, Timothy Bradshaw and wife, Lynn, Melissa Mattick and husband, Richard, Lacey Hix and husband, Brandon all of Coffeyville, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren, Beth Hawes, Jason Bradshaw, Dawn Tatum, Jimmy Bradshaw, Aaron Bradshaw, David Armstrong, Jr., Chad Armstrong, Michelle Armstrong, Cindy Caulkins, Kyle Bradshaw, Tyler Bradshaw, Albany Mattick, Skylar Hix and Tristin Hix; seventeen great grandchildren, Lucas, Kori, Conner, Gabrielle, Jacob, Trinity, Breanna, Jacey, Avalon, Cayden, AJ, Daylin, Aubriana, Brileigh, Gracie, Karter and Annie. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James on March 13, 2012; son, Ricky Bradshaw on May 3, 2016; granddaughter, Jenna Bradshaw and great grandson, Colten Bradshaw. The family asks that you join them in celebrating the life of Patty and James at their Memorial Service which will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville.
