Wendy "Kelly" Dawn Hare, 39, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Kelly was born on December 11, 1976 in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada to Wendal H. and Mary Catherine (Johns) Macdonald. She grew up in Halifax where she went to school and earned her high school diploma. Kelly went on to achieve her Bachlors Degree. In August of 2007 she moved to Coffeyville, Kansas. On June 7, 2008 she was united in marriage to Tim Hare in Coffeyville where the couple made their home. Kelly was a homemaker and enjoyed organizing get-togethers with family and friends. She enjoyed playing pool and competing in pool leagues, she was a talented artist; she and Tim enjoyed raising exotic birds and she loved her dogs. Surviving to honor her memory are her parents, Wendal and Cathy of Halifax, Nova Scotia; husband, Tim of Coffeyville; grandmother, Ruth Johns of Halifax, Nova Scotia; sister, Tamie Wooldridge and husband, Chris and their two children McKenzie and Jace of Prince Edward Island; mother in law, Pat Watts of Coffeyville and step daughter, Madison Hare of Marina, California. Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Veterans Patio at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Pastor Edwin Trottingwolf will officiate. Friends may sign the guest register at David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to David W. Barnes Funeral Home to help defray the cost of funeral expense or mailed to David W. Barnes 306 N Cline, Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.
