Cordelia Ann Jones, 76, of Coffeyville passed away Monday, October 10, 2016, at her home. She was born on November 4, 1939, at Mount Vernon, Missouri to Clarence Herman and Cordelia Gertrude (Kraft) Catts. She grew up and attended school in Mount Vernon. On November 11, 1957, she married Leo Lloyd Jones at Mount Vernon, Missouri. Following their marriage they moved to Coffeyville where they raised their family. They were divorced in 1995. Mrs. Jones worked at Bynum's Men's Wear for several years and was a Real Estate agent at George Realtor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon and attended the First Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville. She was a member of Business and Professional Women, and the Night Writers Author Club. Survivors include one son, Joe Jones and wife Laura of Coffeyville; one daughter, Angela Rotola of Wagoner, Oklahoma; one brother, Bill Catts of Waynesville, Missouri, two sisters, Karen Sue Malone of Irving, Texas, and Joyce Catts of Mount Vernon, Missouri, three grandchildren, Melissa Richards of Manhattan, KS; Roy Hoggatt of Coffeyville, and Michael Rotola, Jr. of Wagoner, OK; and three great-grandchildren, Kelsie Heitman, Addison Heitman, and Arianna Richards. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant son, Jeff Jones. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Missouri, with Pastor Tim Burgess officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon.
