Obituary of Tarrell Grayson Davis

Tarrell Grayson Davis, 43, of Tulsa, OK, formerly of Coffeyville, KS and South Coffeyville, OK passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born on March 31, 1973, at Big Spring, TX to Michael and Jane (Broghammer) Davis. When he was young his family moved to South Coffeyville, OK where he grew up and attended grade school, he completed his high school education at Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. On September 11, 1998, he was united in marriage to Lisa Potter at Miami, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in Tulsa where they raised their family. Tarrell was employed as a Premise Technician with AT&T. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville, and a member and Union Steward for Communications Workers of America (CWA). In his spare time he enjoyed watching football especially the Oklahoma University Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys, he also enjoyed cooking, grilling and smoking food. But his greatest love was spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Lisa of the home; his children, Marcus Davis, Ragan Davis and Grayson Davis all of the home; his parents, Michael and Jane Davis of South Coffeyville, OK; one brother, Aaron Davis and wife Kim and their four children of South Coffeyville, OK; one sister, Tressa Williams and husband Nick and their three children of Owasso, OK; and one granddaughter, Alaina Davis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grayson and Ruby Davis, and Leonard and Margaret Broghammer; and one uncle, Mark Broghammer. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Chad Arnold officiating. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may sign the register book on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Coffeyville Friends of Animals; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
