Kenneth Ray Voris, 62, of Coffeyville, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 30, 1954, at Nowata, OK to Jack S. and Myrtle E. (Redman) Voris. Kenneth grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School. Kenneth worked at Morrow Foundry from many years. He loved to fish and spend time at the river. Survivors include daughter, Heather Voris of Kansas Ctiy, MO; son, Julius White of Coffeyville; daughter, Kayla White of Coffeyville; his mother, Myrtle Sitsler of Coffeyville; significant other, Teresa White; three brothers, Robert Voris and wife Donna of Independence, KS, Larry Voris and wife Paula of Wichita, KS, and Jack Voris and wife Cheryl of Goshen, AL; two sisters, Linda Boughn and husband Don of Chanute, KS, and Elizabeth Nipper of Coffeyville; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Voris and step-father, Andy Sitsler. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2017, at the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. The family suggests memorials in Kenneth's memory be left with the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville to assist with funeral expenses.
