Johnny A. Huskey, 68, of Liberty, KS passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at his home.

He was born on May 8, 1949, at Hay Hollow, MO, to Frank and Dora Edith (Fleming) Huskey. Johnny grew up in Missouri and graduated from Jamesport High School in Jamesport, MO.

On June 15, 1981, he married Connie Garrett in Miami, OK.

He began his career as an Engineer with Rock Island Railroad and later with Missouri Pacific Railroad, before going to work for a privately owned railroad at Phillipsburg, KS. They moved to Liberty in 1994.

He was a member of the Jamesport Christian Church. Johnny loved to hunt and enjoyed watching boxing, but most of all loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Connie of the home; four sons, Jayson Huskey of Jamesport, MO, Navarro of Louisiana; two brothers, Pete Huskey and Frank Huskey both of Jamesport, MO; one sister, Jeannette Theesfeld of Kansas City, MO; eighteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Following Johnny's wishes cremation has taken place and memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
