Trena M. Lemos (Moya), 89 of Coffeyville, KS passed away on July 4, 2017 in the arms of her family. She was born to Joe and Sarah Moya on December 4, 1927 in Coffeyville, KS where she made her lifelong home. She attended Field Kindley High School and went on to graduate from Business College in Bartlesville, OK. She then married the love of her life, Bill Lemos, and they were blessed with three boys; Rick, Chuck, and Bobby Lemos. They were married for almost 50 years and enjoyed dancing, traveling, and spending time with family. Trena worked and retired from Funk's Manufacturing, but in her spare time she loved being involved with the church and community. She was a very active member at Holy Names Catholic Church where she was involved in Knights of Columbus and volunteered at school lunches, bingo nights, translated for families, worked at the pregnancy center, and cooked several meals. She was very passionate about helping people and many said that her beautiful smile and personality could light up an entire room. Trena is survived by her son; Bobby Lemos of Coffeyville, KS, her four granddaughters; Casey Phillips and her husband Steve Phillips of Coffeyville, KS, Sydney Lemos of Bartlesville, OK, Jordan Lemos of Coffeyville, KS, and Samantha Weeks Desch of Topeka, KS. Her three grandsons; Adam and Nikki Lemos of Littleton, CO, Brett and Keesha Lemos of South Coffeyville, OK, and Antonio Lemos of Coffeyville, KS. Her brothers and sisters; Jess and Joanne Moya of Lompoc, CA, Charles and Evelyn Moya of Munster, IN, Joe and Sharon Moya of Omaha, NE, Isabelle and Jess Miranda of Albuquerque, NM, and Aurora Moya of Wilton, CT; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Trena is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Sarah Moya, her husband Bill Lemos, her two sons; Rick and Chuck Lemos, her brother Bobby Moya, her sister Angie and Bill Tipton, and her great granddaughter, Logan Phillips. A Rosary Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Daniel Lorimer officiating. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
