Obituary of Christoper Phillip Woollard

Christopher Phillip Woollard, 32, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Christopher was born on March 29, 1985 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Phillip and Karleen (Jones) Woollard. He grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas where he attended local schools and earned his G.E.D. Christopher was a quiet and kind person who for the most part just kept to himself. He enjoyed playing video games, reading, researching online, farming and horticulture. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Surviving to honor his memory are his parents, Phillip Woollard of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, Karleen (Jones) Woollard of Coffeyville, Kansas; siblings, Jeannie Woollard of Texas, Charlette Peysen of Texas, Gina Schille of Coffeyville, Kansas, Kimberly Woollard of Texas, Dennis Fox of Topeka, Kansas, David Fox of Coffeyville, Kansas; step siblings, Wesley Hill and wife, Shawnesta of Nowata, Oklahoma, Jason Hill of Oklahoma, Amber Mathis and husband, Adam of Delaware, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elti and Bernice Woollard; maternal grandparents, Karl and Madeline Jones; step mother, Lisa Woollard; and brother in law, Ed Schille. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Word of Faith Church in Coffeyville, KS. Pastor Gary Close will officiate. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and can be left at the funeral home or mailed in c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N.
