Charlotte Ann Felton, 79, of South Coffeyville, OK passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017, at her home. She was born on September 6, 1938, at Coffeyville, KS to Jessie Lloyd and Edith Florence (Huffman) McRay. Charlotte grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School. On March 17, 1962, she married Johnny K. Felton at Independence, KS. Following their marriage they made their on in Coffeyville and South Coffeyville, OK. Her husband preceded her in death on November 1, 2009. Charlotte was employed ACC in Independence for many years until her retirement. For many years Charlotte helper her mother and father run the Sunflower Cleaners. She enjoyed listening to music, going for rides in the car, playing games especially bingo, and going to the casinos. Survivors include her granddaughter, Crystal Felton and Shaun; one brother, C.L. McRay and wife Shirley of Coffeyville; one sister, Lynn Johnson of Coffeyville; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Carl Felton, two half-brothers, Willis McRay and Lloyd McRay; one half-sister, Marjorie Thompson; and one grandson, Andrew Felton. A memorial service celebrating Charlotte's life will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Restlawn Memorial Park.
