Obituary of Carolee Keith

Carolee Keith, 88, of Coffeyville died Tuesday, January 23, at Windsor Place. She was born April 24, 1929, in Winfield, Kansas, to Albert and Mary Jane (Rinker) Shaver. Carolee graduated from Sedan High School and attended Coffeyville Community College. In 1950 she married Kenneth F. Keith, and they lived in Coffeyville until 1977 when they moved to Mineral Wells, TX. Following Kenneth's retirement in 1983, they moved to Harlingen, TX, returning home to Coffeyville in 2008. She worked several years for Hertweck Electric, and she and Kenneth were co-owners of Edgewood Lanes. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church and enjoyed playing golf, bowling, quilting, stained glass and crossword puzzles. Kenneth preceded her in death on January 2, 2014. Carolee is survived by two daughters, Cindy Price of Coffeyville and Becki Drozd of Texas; 3 grandchildren, Angie (Chris) Naden of Coffeyville, Ryan (Amanda) Price of South Coffeyville, and Sean Drozd of Texas; and 5 great-grandchildren Bailey Naden, Nick Naden, Natalie Price, Cody Price, Deanna Drozd and Evan Drozd. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 26, at Grace Fellowship with Pastor Doug Mund officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home.
