Norma Duvall, 71, of Coffeyville passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at her home. She was born on February 13, 1945, at rural Welch, OK south of Edna, KS to Ernest and Hattie (Hubbard) Riley. Norma grew up in the Edna area attending elementary school at Ideal School, and graduating from Edna High School. Norma lived in the Edna, Angola and Coffeyville area all of her life. She worked in Auto Parts Stores for many years, working at Coffeyville Motor Co., Hargrove Auto Parts, NAPA, and O'Reilly Auto Parts. On March 10, 1989, she married Homer Duvall. Following their marriage they lived at Angola. Her husband preceded her in death on December 10, 2012. Shortly after he husband death she moved to Coffeyville. She was a member of Angola and Edna Volunteer Fire Dept. for several years. In her spare time Norma enjoyed reading, listening to Christian Music, watching Nascar Races, watching sports especially KU, and CCC, but most of all loved spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Jaimez and husband Andy of Coffeyville, and Terri Wright of Coffeyville; step-son, Michael Duvall and wife Mona of rural Independence; step-daughters, Melissa Carpenter and husband Jerry of Ketchum, OK; two brothers, Rats Riley and wife Louise of Edna; Archie Riley and wife Mary of Edna; sister-in-law, Sue Riley of Wichita; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017, at the First Church of God, 2010 West 5th St., Coffeyville, KS, with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the North Edna Cemetery at Edna, KS. Friends may call on Friday, February 17. 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Kindred Hospice; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
