Steven Douglas "Doug" Bridenstine, 66, formerly of Caney, KS passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at Wichita Care and Rehabilitation in Wichita, KS.
He was born on February 21, 1951, at Caney, KS to Orville J. "Bud" and Phyllis Lou (Wells) Bridenstine. Doug grew up and attended school in Caney graduating from Caney Valley High School in 1969.
Survivors include his brother, Bland Bridenstine of Catoosa, OK; two nieces, Melanie Boaz and husband Todd of Owasso, OK, and Michelle Golden and husband Ben of Parker, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Don Bridenstine in 2013.
Graveside Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney with Rev. Mike Morris of the Caney First Assembly of God officiating.
David W. Barnes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
