Obituary of Margarette N. Neil

Sedan - Margarette N. Neil, age 87, of Sedan, Kansas passed away Wednesday morning, February 7, 2007 at the Pleasant Valley Manor Nursing Home in Sedan. She was born February 2, 1920 in Nowata County, Oklahoma to Lewis Tillman and Nancy Jane (White) DeBoard. She was raised in Freemont, Missouri and graduated from Freemont High School. She married Robert Reece and they later divorced. She married Robert "Bobbie" Neil on April 1, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1986. After his death, she moved back to Sedan in 1986 where she lived until moving to Pleasant Valley Manor in 2005. She was a member of the Chautauqua First Baptist Church. She loved to make satin quilts and can vegetables and loved children. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bobbie; one son, Bobbie; four brothers, Dennis, Donald, David and Lewis and three sisters, Josie Walker, Hazel Donahue and Ruby Benson. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
