Coffeyville - Dorothy Ellen "Nonna" Ryan, loving mother, grandmother, and sister of Coffeyville, passed away Saturday (Dec. 30, 2006) at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 82. She was born December 20, 1924 to Edward and Myrtle (Thomas) Wagner at Dearing, KS. She attended Dearing and Coffeyville schools. On November 30, 1940 she married Emmett C. Ryan at Miami, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville. Mr. Ryan preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. Ryan enjoyed being a homemaker, spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren in sports and other activities, traveling and playing Bingo. She is survived by three daughters, Connie Stevens of Coffeyville, Sharon (Nelson) Riley of Coffeyville, and Linda (Jerry) Graham of Gulf Breeze, FL; ten grandchildren, Lisa (Rick) Pollett of Dearing, Stephanie (Dave) Anderson of Norfolk, NE, Shanna (Dan) Brown of Coffeyville, Angie (Michael) Everhart of Gulf Breeze, FL, Ben (Gabby) Long of Independence, Jonathon Riley of Stillwater, OK, Ben Graham of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Amy Graham of Coffeyville, Crystal Graham of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Nick Riley of Coffeyville; twelve great-grandchildren, Justin and Dustin Jones of Coffeyville, Evan Anderson of Sabamish, WA, Brandon Pollett of Dearing, Sara, Sammy and Shane Everhart of Gulf Breeze, FL, Cutter and Ryder Anderson of Norfolk, NE, McKinzie Graham of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and Colton and Shaydan Brown of Coffeyville; one great-great-granddaughter, Jalissa Jones of Coffeyville, two sisters, Nora Joplin and Lucille Keeley both of Wichita; one sister-in-law, Nina Wagner of Coffeyville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Emmett, one brother, Frank Wagner, one sister, Viola Ward, and one grandchild Randy Vandermark. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (January 3, 2007) at Grace Fellowship with Rev. Gerald Morris and Dr. Wayne Norton officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Tagged as: Grace Fellowship, Restlawn Memorial Park
