Coffeyville - Linda L. Waggoner, 61, of Coffeyville, died Saturday (September 9, 2006) at her home. She was born June 18, 1945 at Coffeyville, to James Fred and Edna (Walton) Tucker. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended school and graduated from Field Kindley High School. On May 8, 1965 she married John Waggoner at Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville where they owned and operated Waggoner Plumbing Company. Linda also owned and operated Linda's Craft Corner for many years and participated in several craft shows. Mr. Waggoner preceded her in death in 2004. Linda attended Grace Fellowship in Coffeyville. She was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, and Walk Kansas Task Force, and for many years she was the cake lady in the reception room at Coffeyville Community College Red Raven football games. Survivors include one daughter, Karen Shufledt and her husband Rodger of Coffeyville; one granddaughter Torrie Shufeldt of Coffeyville; and two brothers, Jim Tucker of Coffeyville and Gene and Mereda Kay Tucker of Coffeyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son John Daren Waggoner in 1988. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (September 14, 2006) at Grace Fellowship, 2455 Woodland Ave. in Coffeyville with Rev. Gerald Morris of Grace Fellowship and Rev. Albert Schaper of Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials to the John and Linda Waggoner Red Raven Football Scholarship Fund at Coffeyville Community College, contributions may be left with the funeral home.
