Coffeyville - Mae E. Dick, 95, of Coffeyville passed away this morning September 30, 2011 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. She was born December 13, 1915 at Liberty, KS to Clay Everett and Haley (Landrum) Peyton. She grew up and attended school in the Liberty area. On December 16, 1934 she married Roy Franklin Dick at Independence, KS. Following their marriage they made their home in Mound Valley for several years until moving to Liberty and later to Coffeyville. Her husband preceded her in death on December 7, 1977. Mae attended Tyro Christian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, and loved playing cards and spending time with her family. Survivors include one son, Charles Dick and wife Marilyn of Coffeyville; one daughter-in-law, Maxine Dick of rural Liberty; one brother, Clyde Hall Peyton and wife Pearl of Coffeyville; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son Buddie Dick on August 6, 2006. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Mound Valley Cemetery in Mound Valley. Friends may call on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
