Coffeyville - Lois Jean Hull, 54, of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Medicalodge of Coffeyville. She was born December 6, 1956 at Coffeyville to Jimmy T. and Frances (Miller) Wooten. Lois grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1975. On November 27, 2004 she married Marty Hull at Lewark Church of God in Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville. Lois was formerly employed at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, Medicalodge of Coffeyville, Apple Tree Inn, China Garden and as a paraprofessional at Field Kindley High School working with special needs students until retiring due to her health. She was a member of Lewark Church of God, she loved to sing, read, shop, watch movies, work with children, helping with Relay for Life, and especially loved life and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Marty Hull of the home; her mother, Frances Wooten of Edna; one brother, J.D. Wooten of Bartlesville, OK; four sisters, Marilyn Means of Edna, Sherry Hall of Murphy, NC, Sandy Sliva of Independence, and Marla Moses of Coffeyville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Lewark Church of God with Rev. Jimmy Hall and Rev. Ernie Wright officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lewark Church of God. Memorials are suggested to Coffeyville Relay for Life, or the American Diabetes Assoc.; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
