Sedan - Tamara DeAnne Brizendine Moore, 48, passed away Monday morning, February 28, 2011 in Wichita, KS. Born February 6, 1963 in Ft. Bragg, NC, she was a daughter of the late John William and Nancy Beaver Brizendine of Rockwell. Educated in the Rowan County Schools, she was a 1981 graduate of South Rowan High and was of the Christian faith. For the past five years, she ran the operations of Midwest Finest Whitetail Outfitters, including clerical, cooking, cleaning, all aspects of the daily business. Tamara had a special gift of making hunters feel welcome, appreciated and gave all a sense of being at home. Through the years of supporting Sam's baseball career, she was able to travel the country, capturing the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. A lifetime NRA member, she was a strong republican, a loving Chrisitan, mother, sister and friend to all. Tamara also enjoyed canning and making beautiful gift baskets. The family will forever cherish the realness and humbleness that echoed from her so beautifully. In addition to her mother, family members include her husband, Sam Moore, son Daniel Lee Moore both of Sedan, KS, her daughter, Brittney DeAnne Moore and Lee Robert Cunningham of Kannapolis, mother-in-law, Pat Moore of Kannapolis, sisters Rhonda Lear and husband, Max, Sr. and Annette Campbell and husband, John, all of Rockwell and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 11-2 with the service beginning at 2:00 at Mount Zion United Church of Christ in China Grove, NC conducted by the Rev. Chuck Peters. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Following the services, family and friends are welcome at the home of Trent and Georgeann Moore, 120 Waycross Drive in Rockwell. Memorials can be made to the Chautauqua County Animal Shelter and may be sent in care of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
