Coffeyville - Lucille Lila Williford, 88, of Coffeyville, passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 7, 1921 at Lenapah, OK to Fred and Eula (Blakemore) Merriman. She grew up and attended school in Lenapah graduating from Lenapah High School. On April 27, 1940 she married Merle K. Myers at Nowata, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville. Mr. Myers preceded her in death in 1983. On June 27, 1986 she married Woody Williford at Coffeyville. He preceded her in death in 1998. Lucille was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Coffeyville, Keystone Sunday School Class and was a charter member of the local AARP. Survivors include four grandchildren, Jason Banzet of Tulsa, OK, Justin Banzet of Claremore, OK, Michelle Lowry of Dallas, TX, and Heather Jimenez of Austin, TX; two brothers, Brady Merriman of Coffeyville, and Bill Merriman of Neosho, MO; one sister, Polly Higgins of Prescott, AZ; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was also preceded in death by one son, Paul Myers in 1995, and one daughter, Susan Casey in 2002. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. John Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Washington Cemetery in Lenapah, OK. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church in Coffeyville; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
