Obituary of Dorotha Faye Bellmon

Coffeyville - Dorotha Faye Bellmon, 87, of Coffeyville, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2009 at her home in Coffeyville. She was born January 1, 1922 in Peru, KS to William and Alta Wallace Bellmon. She grew up and attended school in the Peru, Caney and Sedan areas. For over 30 years she was employed in Central Services at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Dorotha was a member of Grace Fellowship in Coffeyville. She enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her pets. Survivors include her nephew, Ronald Curran of Coffeyville. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nadine Melching and Irene Coleman. Graveside Memorials Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville with Rev. Gerald Morris officiating. Friends may sign the register book on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials to American Heart Association; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N.
