Jerry Lee Garretson, age 58, of Coffeyville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
Jerry Lee Garretson was born April 18, 1951, to Loyal Calvin and Rosie (Bartlett) Garretson. He was raised and went to school in Mound Valley, Kansas, and worked in auto maintenance. On January 26, 1973, he married Gayle Miller in Coffeyville and she survives at the home.
Other survivors of Jerry Lee Garretson include: his mother, Rosie Garretson; three sons; Jerry W. Garretson and Jerry Lee Noblett, both of Coffeyville, and Terry Lee Collins of Pittsburg, Kansas; three daughters; Lisa Hills and husband, Richard, Brenda Noblett, and Michelle Collins, all of Coffeyville; one brother, Larry Garretson, of Coffeyville; three sisters; Cheryl Miller of Coffeyville, Connie Merritt of Independence, and Colleen Van Dorn of Mississippi, and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Mound Valley, KS. Cremation has taken place.
Friends may sign the register book on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
