Obituary of Sandy Jane Pearce

Coffeyville - Sandy Jane Pearce, age 58, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, passed away Monday afternoon, July 20, 2009 at her home. Memorial Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, at the Veteran's Patio at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville with Bill Privitt officiating. Memorial contributions have been requested to the American Cancer Society; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline, Coffeyville, Kansas, 67337. Sandy Jane Pearce was born November 17, 1950, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Jerry and Billie (McAfee) Hill.. She grew up in the Timber Hill/Lenapah area. She had been married to Mike Pearce and he passed away in 2000. She especially enjoyed golf, bowling and taking her kids to livestock shows. She was a Pharmacy Tech and was recently employed by Windsor Place. Survivors of Sandy Jane Pearce include: One son, Judd Pearce of Cashion, Oklahoma; One daughter, Sarah Smith and her husband, Mike, of Perry, Oklahoma; Her aunt, Loretta Bailey of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and her uncle and his wife, John and Jenny McAfee of Columbia, Missouri; One grandson, Jett Smith of Perry, Oklahoma and her nephews, Daniel and Jerry Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home of Coffeyville.
