Irene Lucille Coleman, age 86, of Coffeyville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 24, at Restlawn Cemetery in Coffeyville with Rev. Gerald Morris officiating. Friends may sign the register book on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family has requested memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation and they may be left at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline, Coffeyville, Kansas, 67337.
Irene Lucille Coleman was born April 12, 1923 at Peru, Kansas, to William and Alta (Wallace) Bellmon. She grew up and attended schools in the Caney-Peru- Sedan area. She was a homemaker and was married to Floyd W. Curran and then William Coleman, both of whom preceded her in death, as well as a sister. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Coffeyville.
Surviving Mrs. Coleman are her son, Ronald Curran and a sister, Dortha Bellmon, both of Coffeyville.
