Obituary of Justin Keith McCann

Sedan - Justin Keith McCann, age 23, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield, Kansas. He was born September 7, 1984 in Winfield, Kansas to Keith and Mary (Miller) McCann. He lived in the Oxford area all of his life. He attended school at the Oxford High School in Oxford, Kansas. He was an oil field driller for B and S Well Service. He loved hunting, fishing and also enjoyed riding bulls. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary and Roger Reeves of Yates Center, Kansas; his father and step-mother Keith and Nancy McCann of Oxford, Kansas; his girlfriend, Jacque Webber of the home in Winfield, Kansas; two daughters, Destiny and Alexis McCann, both of the home in Winfield, Kansas; his maternal grandparents, Frank and Vera Miller of Sedan, Kansas and Nellie Reeves of Winfield, Kansas; two brothers, Robert McCann of Chanute, Kansas and Joshua McCann of Winfield, Kansas; one sister, Charlett Morley of Clarksville, Tennessee and numerous aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Carol McCann. The casket will be closed and friends may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 12, 13, and 14, at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the shelter house in the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan, Kansas with Reverend Jerry Bever of the Sedan United Methodist Church officiating. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Destiny and Alexis McCann Memorial Fund and these remembrances may be left in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
