Evelyn F. Phillippi, 84, of Coffeyville passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Medicalodge of Coffeyville.
She was born December 19, 1924 in Illinois to Vernon and Opal Garver. She grew and attended school in Illinois.
On June 25, 1942 he married John Franklin "Dean" Phillippi at St. Charles, MO. Following their marriage they made their home for many years in Vinita, OK, moving to Coffeyville in 1983.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Phillippi of Coffeyville, Vernon Phillippi of Oklahoma, and Leroy Phillippi of Paris, IL; one daughter, Shirley Bellamy; two brothers, Fred Bright, and Charles Hackney; and one sister, Susie Connelly all of Illinois; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, John Franklin Phillippi, Jr., and one daughter, Judy Tune.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009 in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
