Robert Swanson, age 80, of Sedan, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan, Kansas.
He was born August 18, 1928 in Jasper County, Missouri to Clarence and Vernice L. Swanson. He grew up and attended school there until the eighth grade. He lived in Wyoming for fifteen years where he worked as a rancher on several different ranches. He moved to Peru and later to Chautauqua before moving to Sedan. He has lived in the Chautauqua County area for the last fifteen years.
He is survived by his guardian Matthew Dumm of Jasper, Missouri.
Cremation has taken place and the family has requested no service at this time.
