Coffeyville - Gaynell "Jinx" Crawmer, 84, of Coffeyville, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville Kansas. She was born June 24, 1929 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Leroy Smith and Manilla (Jackson) Smith. She graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. On June 12, 1949 she married Lawrence "Larry" Crawmer in Bentonville, Arkansas. After their marriage they moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where she worked at Continental Can for several years before opening and operating her own antique store in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She was a member of Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church. She is survived by one son; Lt. Col.(Retired) Douglas Crawmer and wife Donna of Manhattan, Kansas, two sisters, Manilla Huffman of McAlester, Oklahoma and Goldie Owens of Onalaska, Washington; three granddaughters Elizabeth Galvan of Manhattan, Kansas, Rebecca Kadavy of Manhattan, Kansas and Sarah Reeves of McPherson, Kansas; seven great grandchildren 2 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence "Larry" Crawmer, parents Leroy and Manilla Smith and sisters; Bessie Clevenger, Dovie Lea Moore, Rose May Lawson and Dollie Jo Kieth. Church Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., December 11, 2013 at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville with Pastor John Dixon and Pastor Gerald Pringle officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas Friends may call on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 12:00 to 8:00pm at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. Gaynell's family suggests memorials in her memory to Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church; contributions may be left at the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Rd., Coffeyville, KS, 67337
