Coffeyville - Mark Curtis Armstrong, 55, of Coffeyville passed Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK He was born August 14, 1953 in Coffeyville to Arthur Eugene and Mary Virginia (Kalm) Armstrong. He grew up and attended school in Coffeyville. He married Betty and they were later divorced. Mark attended the Lewark Church of God and operated I-Cab in Coffeyville. Survivors include his mother, Mary Armstrong of Coffeyville; one brother, Lyle Matthew Parker of Winfield; one sister Gayla Corser of Coffeyville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Rusty Eugene Scott. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Lewark Church of God with Pastor Josh Thayer and Pastor J.D. Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville is in charge of arrangements.
