Obituary of Oteka J. Grover

Coffeyville - Oteka J. Grover, 79, of Coffeyville, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2009, at Windsor Place Assisted Living. She was born July 6, 1929 at Wichita Falls, TX, to Ernest and Minnie (Engle) Milburn, the youngest of seven children. In 1945 she married Clifford Grover. Following their marriage they lived in Chicago, IL 25 years and Tulsa, OK where they lived for 20 years. Mr. Grover preceded her in death in 1994. She moved to Coffeyville several years ago to make her home near her daughter. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Boldt and her husband Louis of North Richland Hills, TX, and Linda Grover of Coffeyville; two granddaughters, Leanne Boldt of Austin, TX, and Lindsey Boldt, of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, W.L. Milburn of California; and one sister, Caresa Sandford of Ft. Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents her step-father, Paul Singletary, her husband, and four brothers and sisters. A family memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, with Rev. Gerald Morris of Grace Fellowship officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
