Glenn Harrington, 49, of Coffeyville, passed away this morning, January 5, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Independence.
He was born June 28, 1959 at Kansas City, Missouri. He moved to California with his family where he graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego.
Glenn lived in Iola, KS before moving to Coffeyville 14 years ago.
On May 10, 1997 he married Patricia (Martin) Fisher at Las Vegas, Nevada. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville. Glenn was employed as a press operator at Spears Mfg. Co. at Caney.
He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville.
Survivors include his wife, Patty of the home; two sons, Lance Harrington of San Diego, CA, and Ronald Harrington of Iola, KS; one daughter, Brooke Harrington of Iola, KS; two step-sons, Brian Fisher of Austin, TX, and Daniel Fisher of New York City, NY; two step-daughters, Melissa Barnett of Coffeyville and Veronica Fisher of Lawrence, KS; his father and step-mother, Glenn and Crys Harrington of Lynnwood, KS; three brothers, Brad and Jean Lance of Medina, MN, Bret and Sondra Harrington of Galveston, TX, and Kirk and Erin Harrington of Olathe; two sisters, Staci and Jim Talkington of Iola, KS; and Lorinda and Don James of Overland Park, KS; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
A Rosary Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2009 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Daniel Vacca officiating. Following the service cremation will take place; inurnment will take place at a later date in California.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
