Georgia N. Miller, age 93, of Sedan, Kansas passed away Wednesday evening, December 3, 2008 at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan, Kansas.
She was born March 12, 1915 in Iola, Kansas to George and Pearl (Mullins) Neathery. She attended and graduated from Iola High School in 1933. She married Estelle "Pete" Miller in Iola, Kansas in 1934. They moved from Winfield, Kansas to Sedan in 1946. Her husband preceded her in death on July 13, 1991.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sedan.
She is survived by her son, Don E. Miller of Estes Park, Colorado; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Estelle "Pete" Miller, her parents and one brother and one sister.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Dr. J. Dean McNamara of the First Baptist Church officiating.
The casket will be closed and friends may sign the register book from Tuesday-Friday (December 9-12) from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan.
