Sedan - Margaret Ann Crugar, age 79, of Sedan passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008 at her home in Sedan, Kansas. She was born November 18, 1928 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Ardell William and Clara M. (Postalwaite) Hughes. She grew up and attended school in Canton, Ohio. On December 15, 1966 she married Bill James Crugar in Yuma, Arizona. Following their marriage they made their home in Keota, Oklahoma area until moving to Peru in 2001. She recently had moved to Sedan. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, fishing, dancing and the most important was cooking. She is survived by six sons; Fred "Doc" Westendorff, Sequoyah Reece, Smokey Reece, Rusty Reece, Harry Edmond Crugar, and Bryant Reece; two daughters; Jaylene Ruggles and Deanna Reece, 17 additional step children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill James Crugar on November 18, 2006, two sisters and two brothers. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday (November 18, 2008) in the Peru Cemetery at Peru, Kansas with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Chaplain Mike Graham officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2008 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan, Kansas.
