Kathleen Geneva Fuller, 83, of Coffeyville, former longtime Jenks, OK resident, passed away Thursday morning November 6, 2008, at Windsor Place in Coffeyville.
She was born July 6, 1925 in Seminole County, Oklahoma to Joseph and Nora Reed. She grew up and attended school in the Weleetka, Oklahoma area.
She married Archie Fuller in Oklahoma. Following their marriage they made their home in the Wetumka, OK where Mr. Fuller was employed with PSO. In 1970 they moved to Washita, OK before moving to Jenks, OK in 1975. Mr. Fuller preceded her in death in 1993. Following his death she continued making her home in Jenks until moving to Coffeyville in June of 2001 to be near her granddaughter and family.
She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Jenks.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Deena Allen and husband Patrick of Coffeyville, and Scott Harris and wife Kay of Jenks, OK; four great-grandchildren, Amanda Allen of Coffeyville, Shelby Harris, Hailey Harris and Zoe Harris all of Jenks. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Glenn Dale Fuller in February 1986, one daughter, Connie Sue Harris on October 14, 2001; one brother Estel; and two sisters, Ilda, and Willie.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008 in the Wetumka Cemetery at Wetumka, OK.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Rd., Coffeyville, KS 67337.
Friends may sign the register book on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, the casket will be closed.
The family would like to thank the Winston Unit at Windsor Place especially to Nancy, Elouise, and Michelle for the care they gave to Kathleen, and also thank Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice for their care and support.
