Obituary of Ann Unruh

Coffeyville - Ann Katherine Unruh, 46, of Coffeyville passed away Thursday morning (October 16, 2008) at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1961 at Coffeyville to Robert L. and Dorothy A. (Starts) Unruh. Ann grew up and was educated in Coffeyville attending Holy Name School, McKinley Middle School, Roosevelt Junior High, and graduated from Field Kindley High School. Ann was previously employed at New Beginnings in Independence, and enjoyed traveling and camping with her family and collecting monkey memorabilia. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Altar Society, and was active in Faith and Light. Survivors include two brothers, Robert Unruh and his wife Joan of Webber, KS, and John Unruh of Littleton, CO; and two nieces, Kirsten Unruh and Michelle Unruh both of Webber, KS. Ann was preceded in death by her parents. A Rosary Vigil Service will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 20 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 408 Willow in Coffeyville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:30 p.m., Monday, October 20 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Ben Nguyen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville.. Friends may call on Sunday, October 19 between noon and 9:00 pm at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
