Julia Ann "Julie" Countryman, 49, of Tulsa, former longtime Coffeyville resident, passed away Wednesday (November 7, 2007) at the Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.
She was born October 12, 1958, in Coffeyville to James and Mary (Biggs) Pippin. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School.
Before moving to Tulsa earlier this year Julie was employed by Acme Foundry at the Maintenance and Supply Desk
Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Misty and Matt Vesey of Coffeyville, one son Francis Anthony Hannah of Coffeyville; her father and step-mother, James and Velma Pippin of Coffeyville; two brothers Tony and Pam Pippin of Independence, and John Pippin of Coffeyville, two step-brothers, Calvin and Nancy Rittenhouse of Coffeyville, and Terry and Karen Rittenhouse of Coffeyville; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Pippin; one son, Dale Hannah on November 5, 2005; and one step-sister, Valerie J. Clark, on November 4, 2007.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday (November 12, 2007) in the Central Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Dan Strange officiating. Burial will be in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the Shriner's Children's Hospital; contributions may be left with the funeral home.
David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville is in charge of arrangements.
