Obituary of Kimberly Harmon

Coffeyville - Kimberly Renee Harmon, 36, of rural Caney, passed away Tuesday morning, September 9, 2008 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born December 11, 1971 in Coffeyville to Michael and Elizabeth "Susie" (Parker) Hait. She lived in Broken Arrow, OK with her family until moving to Caney when she was young. She grew up and attended school in Caney, graduating from Caney Valley High School. Following high school she attended Sidney's Beauty College in Coffeyville. On September 8, 1989 she married Miles Harmon at Tyro, KS. They later separated. Kimberly was a certified nurse's aide and worked in home health care for several years. She was a member of the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro. Survivors include her husband, Miles; one son, Preston Chance Harmon of the home; one daughter, Jordayne Nicole Harmon of the home; her mother, Susie Cutshall of rural Caney; her father and step-mother, Mike and Nancy Hait of Oologah, OK; one sister, Michele and Gary Clayton of Fayetteville, AR; and two step-sisters, Kim and David Douglas of Toronto, KS, and Kristi and Marshall Hudgens of Ponca City, OK. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; one daughter, Savannah Elizabeth Harmon one step-brother, Kelly Kerr in 2007. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2008 in the Tyro Christian Church in Tyro with David Bycroft officiating. Friends may sign the register book on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, cremation will take place. David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville is in charge of arrangements.
