Obituary of John David Thomas

Sedan - John David Thomas, age 22, of Sedan, Kansas passed away Friday August 15, 2008 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born March 23, 1986 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Joseph S. and Brenda (VanDorn) Thomas Chambers. He grew up in Sedan and attended school in Sedan. He worked in the Oil Field for Speedy Well Service as a pulling unit operator where he has worked for the last few months. He loved music, playing the guitar, fishing, and woodworking. He was an artist and was very talented in many ways. He is survived by his parents, Joseph S. and Patrice Thomas of Sedan, his mother Brenda Chambers; one brother, Timothy Thomas of Sedan; Two Sisters, Kayla and Jackie Capps of the home in Sedan; his paternal grandparents, Joe and Judi Thomas also of Sedan, Kansas. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2008 and Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan, Kansas.
