Shirley Marie Hall, 86, of Lenapah, Oklahoma, died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her home. She was born January 18, 1928 to Orville and Grace (Armstrong) Bradley in Coffeyville, Kansas. She grew up in the Coffeyville area and graduated from Field Kindley High School where she was a member of the Golden Tornado Drum and Bugle Corp. She also attended Coffeyville Community College. She married Harold H. "Bish" Hall, Jr. on February 9, 1947 in Joplin, Missouri. Following their marriage they made their home in Lenapah area, where Shirley worked at Lenapah School District and later at Oklahoma Union School District as secretary to the Superintendent for over 25 years, and helped her husband on the family ranch. Her husband preceded her in death on December 9, 2010. Shirley was a member of the Lenapah United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing Bridge, painting, quilting and visiting with family and friends. She was preceded in death by, her parents; her husband, one daughter, Linda Ezell; and two brothers, Wendell Bradley and Charles Bradley. She is survived by her son Brad Hall and wife, Sherry and her daughter Susan Hindman and her husband, David all of Lenapah, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, Todd and Jon Weakley, Sarah Lang, Becky McCune, Ryon LaFaller, Matt Hall, Jessica Hall, and Brian Ezell and eleven great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lenapah United Methodist Church, with Rev. George Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends may call on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, KS. The family has suggested memorials to the American Heart Association, or the Lenapah United Methodist Church; contributions may be left in care of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
