Rigdon family,
I'm writing this on behalf of my mom and dad Jeannie and Rick, my brother Corey and his family, and from me and my family. We all share great memories with you guys through scouting, school, lifeguarding, band, and simply being from the same small town. I wanted to let you know we send our deepest condolences. I worked with Greg for 25 years and was always glad when he was on my shift.
I remember when his boys were little and still in their baby car seats.
I remember a lot of good food and a lot of good laughs shared with him during that time.
I'm out in the high desert of Arizona and our paths have only crossed a few times in the last 8 years, but just wanted to let you know Greg is still thought about even far from home.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you say goodbye to Greg. He was a mentor and friend to me as we played in the Red Raven Marching Band back in 1978. Mr. Criswell told me I could play the french horn and Greg showed me how to do it! May God's peace and love surround and comfort you.

My mother just informed me this afternoon of Greg's recent death. I went to school with Greg and was in Sunday School through the years with him at the Methodist Church. I remember Greg as friendly, gentle and a real stand-up guy. It sounds like Greg made his mark in the world as a son, a father and loving husband. A good body of work for a good man. He was certainly taken too early. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
