William Connor "Bill" Smart, 47, of Sedan, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center in Wichita, KS
He was born June 3, 1967, at Cedar Vale, KS to Jerry and Loma (Stone) Smart. Bill grew up and attended school in Sedan graduating from Sedan High School.
Bill worked at several different jobs, and enjoyed repairing computers. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing.
Survivors include one daughter, Kirsten Smart; one son, Alyn Fogerty; his parents, Jerry and Loma Smart; and three brothers, Dale, Smart, Randy Smart, and Dustin Smart.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry Connor and Madge (Council) Smart; and William and Ellen (Byrum) Stone.
A memorial service celebrating Bill's life will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2014 at Wauneta United Methodist Church with Kevin Fogerty and Dale Stone officiating.
The family suggest memorials in Bill's memory be left with the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan.
