Obituary of Magdalene M. Fralick

Magdalene M. “Maggie” Fralick, age 90, of Longton, Kansas (former lifelong resident of Sedan) passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at her home in Longton.
She was born August 20, 1924, at Sedan, Kansas to Milburn Miller and Bertha (Brown) Miller. She grew in Sedan and attended school until the eighth grade.
On July 25, 1942 she married Elmer Blankinship in Sedan, Kansas and they made their home in Sedan all of their married life. Maggie was a homemaker and was involved in the Assembly of God Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband on February 19, 1986. On May 5, 1989 she married John Fralick and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2005.
Maggie was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Sedan.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Wanda Blankinship of Sedan, Kansas; four grandchildren, Patricia Wallrabenstein and husband Russell of Winfield, Kansas, Debbie Kill and husband Rick of Longton, Kansas, Justin Blankinship and wife Melissa of Noblesville, Indiana, and Bryan Blankinship and wife Sheila of Sedan, Kansas; eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son Butch Blankinship, husbands Elmer Blankinship and John Fralick, her six brothers, Othello, Donald, Kennett, Edwin, Eugene, and Wilford and one sister Melrena and also her parents.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Rev. Paul Stetz of the Assembly of God Church officiating.
The family suggests memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and those remembrances may be left in care of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
