Jason Charles Collins, 42, of Coffeyville he was pronounced dead Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville. He was born October 16, 1972 at San Clemente, California to Jesse Collins and Luce Bennett. He moved to Coffeyville in 1973, where he was later adopted by his grandparents, Lovie and Elmira Francis Collins. On March 25, 1993 he married Teresa Pauline Ruark in Coffeyville. He worked as a laborer for Windsor Place in Coffeyville. He previously worked at Amazon in Coffeyville. Jason loved to fish and play pool. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Collins of Coffeyville, Kansas; one daughter, Brittni Ruark of Coffeyville, Kansas and one son, Aaron Easter also of Coffeyville, Kansas; one grandson, Kail'L Carpenter of a Coffeyville, Kansas; five brothers, Lovie Collins of Alton, Illinois, Jesse (Hawkeye) Collins of San Diego, California, Johnny Clifton Collins of Coffeyville, Kansas; biological brothers Jesse Collins of Wichita, Kansas, Elvis Collins of San Diego, California; Four Sisters, Mary Curtis of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Velma Jones of Alton, Illinois, Virginia Gray of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roberta Collins of Las Vegas, Nevada; He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, one sister Wilhemina Standifer and three brothers Walter Collins, Leonard Scott, and Fred Collins. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Sardis Baptist Church (414 E. 2nd Street) in Coffeyville, Kansas.
