Rachel Nacole Baker, 29, of South Coffeyville, OK, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born April 17, 1985, at Coffeyville, KS to Steven and Lavena (Bolinger) Baker. Rachel grew up and attended school in Coffeyville. From a young age she was raised by her mother and step-father, Joe Knight. Survivors include one son, Kylan Baker of the home; her fiancé, Sylvester Marshall, her parents, Lavena Baker and Joe Knight of South Coffeyville, OK; sisters, Sarah Bolinger of Edna and Carrie Walker of Coffeyville; and her grandmother, Edith Olson of Mound Valley, KS She was preceded in death by one daughter, Audrey Nacole Baker, her father, Steven Baker, her grandfather, Albert Olson, and one niece, Alyssa Bolinger. A Graveside Memorial Service Celebrating Rachel's life will be Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Richland Cemetery north of Angola, KS with Rev. John Lockaby officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials for the benefit of her son, Kylan Baker who survived the accident; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
