Obituary of Susan Kay Hare

Susan Kay Hare, 55, of Dewey, OK passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. She was born March 26, 1959, at Coffeyville, KS to Albert William and Patsy Jane (Stark) Hare, Jr. Susan grew up in Coffeyville, and lived in Bartlesville, OK, and Dewey, OK. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bartlesville. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Patsy and Dennis Watts of Coffeyville; three sisters, Kathy J. Ryan of Elk City, KS, Kristi L. Ryan of Collinsville, OK, and Trish Cox and husband Mike of Coffeyville; one brother, Tim Hare and wife Kelly of Coffeyville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert W. Hare, Jr., and her grandparents. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Dearing First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Edwin Trottingwolf officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Dearing First Southern Baptist Church or Children’s Mercy Hospital; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
