Keith Gordon Wanzer was born June 29, 1934 in Loyal, Oklahoma, the youngest of five. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Ferman Wanzer & Lydia Helzer Wanzer; infant son Steven Ray Wanzer; brothers Floyd Dwight Wanzer & Ferman Dwaine Wanzer; sister Betty Wanzer Vrska; and son-in-law Teddy Dale Pryor. Survived by his wife Joyce Wanzer; son Randy and Shari Wanzer of Corn, OK; son Ken Wanzer & Greg Dorn of San Mateo, CA; daughter Allison Pryor of Coffeyville, KS; son Neil and Amber Howe of Coffeyville, KS; grandson Jared Wanzer of Oklahoma City, OK; grandson Sean & Joni Wanzer of Norman, OK; granddaughters Addie and Hayden Howe of Coffeyville, KS; grandson David Juarez of San Diego, CA; granddaughters Amy Juarez of Yukon, OK and Sara Juarez of Bethany, OK; great grandchildren Chandler and Alyvia Stinson of Weatherford, OK; brother Marion and Loretta Wanzer of Enid, OK; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, international students, dear friends and loved ones. Keith graduated Loyal High School in 1952 and served in the US Army 1957-1963. He went on to manage Grain Elevators, was an Oil & Gas Landman; laborer/construction; retired from Sherman Williams after 18 years; along with his wife they own Nightingales Uniforms. Keith was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; FFA as a youth; showing sheep on show circuit for Doc Noble; champion sheep shearer & shepherd, and coached little league baseball & soccer. While being a man of few words, he was the most hard-working, kind-hearted and giving person and everyone wanted to be around him. If you ever needed anything, Keith was there. Keith was an avid OU fan, enjoyed gardening and hunting with his dog, Sissie. Throughout his life, he lived in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. Visitation will be 10:00 am.m-11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1001 W 8th Street, Coffeyville, KS. Memorial Service will be 11am, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Memorials in honor of Keith can be made to United Methodist Women's Fund, Trinity United Methodist Church.
