Obituary of Kathryn Berryman

Kathryn L. Berryman, 59, of Coffeyville, KS passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1956 in Coffeyville, KS to Oscar Frank and Margaret Ellen (Hopkins) Peyton. She was a lifelong resident of Coffeyville, attending Coffeyville Schools. Kathryn married Milton Berryman on March 17 1984 in Coffeyville, where they made their home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved Bingo, garage sales, dancing, going to the lake and camping and going to the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her husband Milton of the home; one son, Justin Ledbetter and wife, Shekinah; two daughters, Mistey Hayden and husband, Clarence, and Samantha Austin and husband, Cornelius all of Coffeyville; eight grandchildren , Michael, Cliff Jr., Zachary, Libby, Logan, Jaden, Teagan, and Jayonna. She is also survived by two sisters, Lois Whipple, and Barbara and Sam Abbott; and two brothers, Dale and Marcie Peyton, and Bill and Anita Peyton. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville. Burial will follow at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Visitation will be Monday, February 16, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
