Obituary of Mark Lewis Kuehn

Mark Lewis Kuehn, 51, of South Coffeyville, OK, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015, at his home following a long illness. He was born on November 25, 1963, at Wichita, KS, to Ernest Edward and Viola Mae (Yeubanks) Kuehn, Jr. Mark grew up on the family farm near South Coffeyville and attended school at Lenapah, OK. On April 22, 1999 he married Donna Childers at Miami, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in rural South Coffeyville. Mark was employed as a trackman doing track maintenance for the SKOL Railroad. He attended the Lutheran Church, in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, music, and working with horses, but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Donna of the home; two daughters, Samantha Kuehn of South Coffeyville, OK, and Cassie Kuehn Standridge of Thayer, KS; one step-daughter, Kara Hunt of Columbia, MO; one step-son, Wes Goosey of Columbia, MO; two brothers, Dale Kuehn of Coffeyville, and Ernie Kuehn III of South Coffeyville, OK; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cheyenne Kuehn; one brother, Darrel Kuehn; and one grandson, Brentley Standridge. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, OK. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
