Obituary of Frank J. Rohling

Frank J. Rohling, 83, of Coffeyville, passed away Friday morning, February 20, 2015, at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. He was born May 4, 1931 in Andale, Kansas to Frank J. and Catherine (Georges) Rohling, Sr. He grew up in the Colwich area and graduated from Andale High School. He married Beulah A. Friess on October 23, 1954 in St. Marks, Kansas. Frank served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. In 1965 Frank and Beulah moved to the Coffeyville area where he enjoyed farming. He was also active in the Holy Name Catholic Church and served on the Canada Township Board. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leo Rohling and Harold Rohling and three sisters, Martha Blick, Helen Simon and Marie Armor. He is survived by his wife, Beulah of the home, two sons, Fred Rohling and wife, Deanna of Thayer, Kansas and Jim Rohling and wife, Ronda of Mound Valley, Kansas; four daughters, Cathy McCord of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Suzette Perry and husband, James of Clearwater, Kansas, Diane Rohling of Ridgecrest, California and Bonita Rohling and her fiancé, Joe Hudson of O'Fallon, Missouri; one brother, Walt Rohling and wife, Pat of Derby, Kansas, sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Rosary will be Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Chad Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home. Friends can also call on Wednesday, February 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
