Obituary of Glenna Lowry Mangels

Glenna Lee (Lowry) Mangels, 81 went to her heavenly home on February 25th, 2015. Her beloved husband "Bill" William H. her two daughters Judy and Brenda, son Glen and wife Cyndi at her side.
Glenna was born August 16th, 1933, in Coffeyville to Glen Lowry and Lila (White) Lowry. She grew up on the Lowry Ranch established by her grandfather William Lafayette Lowry and graduated from Lenapah High School in 1951.
She was married to her longtime love William "Bill" Mangels for 63 years and raised 4 wonderful children Judy (Mangels) Hinson of Claremore Oklahoma, Glen Lowry Mangels and wife Cyndi of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, Brenda (Mangels) Kujawa of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Sara Ellen Mangels (deceased). She is also survived by grandchildren Matthew Hinson and wife Sarah, Andrew Hinson and wife Danette, Elizabeth Goodman and husband Bryan. Grant Lowry Mangels and wife Melissa, Amanda (Mangels) Oden and husband Eric, Megan Mangels. Sarah (Kujawa) Yelverton and husband Chris, William (Will) Kujawa, and Stevie Kujawa, and 10 great grandchildren.
During the 1980's Glenna and Betty Lynn, her beloved sister opened the Bridal Boutique in Coffeyville, Kansas which sold prom and bridal attire and catered weddings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Betty Lynn, her daughter Sara Ellen and granddaughter Amy Mangels.
Services for Glenna will be held Wednesday March 4th, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church In Coffeyville, Kansas at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Mark Burger will officiate the service. Burial will be held following the service at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Lenapah Oklahoma.
Book signing at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left at the funeral home to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
